Terms of Service
Last updated: May 28, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of LeadPilot. By creating an account or connecting your Thumbtack account, you agree to them.
1. The service
LeadPilot is an assistant for Thumbtack service professionals. It reads your incoming leads and messages, drafts suggested replies, scores leads, and creates follow-up reminders. LeadPilot is a copilot: it does not send messages on its own — you approve every reply before it is sent.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 and operate a legitimate business.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. Connecting Thumbtack
LeadPilot connects to Thumbtack through the official Partner API using OAuth. You authorize the connection on Thumbtack directly; we never receive your Thumbtack password. You are responsible for complying with Thumbtack's own terms of service. You may disconnect LeadPilot at any time, which revokes our access.
4. Your content & approvals
You retain ownership of your business content and customer communications. Because you review and approve every message before it sends, you are responsible for the content of messages you approve. LeadPilot's drafts are suggestions, not professional, legal, or pricing advice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use LeadPilot to send spam, harassment, deceptive, or unlawful messages.
- Attempt to bypass Thumbtack's API, scrape data, or share access credentials.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
- Use the service to violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
6. Billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor.
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops billing at the end of the current cycle.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
7. Beta & availability
LeadPilot is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may be in beta. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will increase your bookings or revenue. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadPilot disclaims all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using LeadPilot and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others, to Thumbtack, or to us.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will post changes here with a new date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
